Cervical Cancer Symptom: What not to ignoreÿ

Ignoring a cervical cancer symptom can prove devastating and life altering. If your body is behaving in an unusual way, listen to it; itâ⿬⿢s trying to tell you something.

If youâ⿬⿢re a woman, you probably give cervical cancer a thought once a year when you go in for your annual pap smear. Because most women check out and donâ⿬⿢t have an abnormal pap smear the thought is gone as quick as it came. For other women, they simply donâ⿬⿢t think about cervical cancer enough. You have odd things happening with your body, and you arenâ⿬⿢t aware that itâ⿬⿢s a cervical cancer symptom. Ignoring a cervical cancer symptom can prove devastating and life altering. If your body is behaving in an unusual way, listen to it; itâ⿬⿢s trying to tell you something.

Unfortunately, in its earliest stages there isnâ⿬⿢t a cervical cancer symptom to warn you of what is going on in your body. Some women get lucky and happen to have a pap smear and find out before a cervical cancer symptom can present itself. Having an annual pap smear is essential for just this reason.

The most common cervical cancer symptom is unusual vaginal bleeding. This can be bleeding after sexual intercourse, bleeding between periods, or especially heavy periods. Just because you have abnormal vaginal bleeding isnâ⿬⿢t a clear indication of cervical cancer, it just means you should make an appointment with your doctor and get checked out.
Another common cervical cancer symptom is a watery and sometimes bloody vaginal discharge, often with a foul smell.
Difficult urination or unexplained kidney failure is also a common cervical cancer symptom, although this could have many other causes.
Painful urination, sometimes with blood in the urine can also be a cervical cancer symptom, although there are many other causes of this symptom.
Another common cervical cancer symptom is a constant dull backache or swelling in the legs.
Diarrhea, or pain or bleeding from the rectum is another cervical cancer symptom, although this is quite rare and can be attributed to many other illnesses.
Fatigue, loss of weight and possibly appetite, and a general feeling of illness is a widely reported cervical cancer symptom.
Of course, no one cervical cancer symptom means that you do have cervical cancer. Most of the symptoms listed can be attributed to a wide variety of illnesses and conditions. But, if you have been suffering from one or more of the symptoms above for two weeks or more, itâ⿬⿢s time to schedule an appointment with your doctor. Even if it isnâ⿬⿢t cervical cancer, you need to address the issue right away. The longer you wait, the worse things could get.

If you are experiencing any sort of cervical cancer symptom get checked out today, the earlier you catch cervical cancer the easier it is to cure.
